Tatjana Barisic-Dujmovic

Tatjana Barisic-Dujmovic, MD, is a board-certified adult psychiatrist with a subspecialty in addiction medicine. Dr. Dujmovic graduated with honors from Zagreb University School of Medicine in Split, Croatia.

Experience

She completed her psychiatry residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center, where she served as chief resident and developed a strong foundation in both clinical practice and medical education. During residency, she received research funding to investigate cardio-metabolic risk factors associated with antipsychotic treatment, a topic that has significant implications for the management of patients with serious mental illnesses. Before pursuing psychiatry, Dr. Dujmovic had an extensive career in basic science research.

She was a faculty member at the University of Connecticut’s Department of Genetics and Developmental Biology, where she authored several original publications focused on animal models of human genetic and neurodevelopmental disorders. This research experience has given her a deep understanding of the biological underpinnings of mental health conditions, which she integrates into her clinical practice to provide a holistic approach to patient care. Since completing her training, Dr. Dujmovic has held several academic positions and has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient, outpatient, partial hospitalization programs (PHP), and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). Her broad clinical experience enables her to treat patients across a spectrum of mental health needs, from crisis intervention to long-term management.

As a psychiatrist, Dr. Dujmovic prioritizes forming strong, individualized relationships with her patients. She believes in empowering patients to take an active role in their mental health care by providing education, fostering resilience, and creating a collaborative therapeutic environment. Her goal is to help patients not only manage symptoms but also build lasting well-being through personalized care strategies.

Kristina Guillory Landry

Kristina G. Landry APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, is the owner of Evangeline Mental Health and co-owner of Vital Healthcare Solutions (dba Magnolia Therapeutics), where she manages advanced practice nurses and counselors in the evaluation and treatment of clients in need of family practice, psychiatric and addiction care, across all forms of the care continuum.

Experience

She is also a treatment provider in those settings as well. Mrs. Landry has spent 19years as an advanced nurse practitioner, with the last 13 of those years in the clinical treatment and management of those in need of specialized behavioral health care, in both outpatient and inpatient settings. She spent 4years in the treatment of those suffering with persistent mental illness while working within an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team.

She has treated clients in multiple areas including private and RHC outpatient clinics, Intensive Outpatient settings, Partial Hospitalizations, Recovery/MAT programs, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, ACT teams, as well as multiple areas of telemedicine.  For the past six years, Mrs. Landry has also focused on treating people who are dual diagnosed with psychiatric illness and substance use disorders, in particular those with opioid use disorder via Medication Assisted Treatment with buprenorphine (Suboxone).

Mrs. Landry is currently working on merging her practice of Evangeline Mental Health with her RHC Magnolia Therapeutics to be able to provide holistic care, providing full spectrum of medical/family practice services as well as extend mental health and substance abuse services to clients of Central Louisiana, accepting all forms of insurance, including Medicaid and Medicare. Mrs. Landry’s clinic is the only clinic in a wide radius to accept insurance for the treatment of MAT/buprenorphine services in the treatment of OUD.  She has developed close alliances with community partners in Central Louisiana.
